Gary Leibowitz GARY LEIBOWITZ

Gary Leibowitz is a nationally recognized leader in aspects of creditor and debtor bankruptcy law. From 1980 to 1999 he was a managing senior partner of Leibowitz and Constantino. During his time at Leibowitz and Constantino, he routinely obtained judicial decisions that affected corporate policies and had an impact on a national basis. His firm handled anywhere from 10,000 to 20,000 new cases per month including creditor representation, debtor representation, and personal injury. In 2000, Mr. Leibowitz decided to take a more personal approach to the practice of law set up his own small practice in order to devote his time to giving his clients the personal attention they deserved. He has 30 years of experience litigating cases. He has also served as Judge Pro Tem in what is now known as the Superior Court of California, County of Orange , Harbor Division. Mr. Leibowitz is a graduate of Queens College , City University of New York and Western State College of Law, Fullerton, California . He is a member of Orange County Bar Association.


Susan Jensen SUSAN JENSEN

Susan Jensen joined the Leibowitz Law Group in 2002. She received her B.A. from the University of California at San Diego and her J.D. from UCLA School of Law. During law school she completed an externship with the Honorable Vincent P. Zurzolo, United States Bankruptcy Judge. Ms. Jensen was admitted to the California Bar in 2001. She has prepared more than 1,000 chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcies and represented debtors and creditors in numerous bankruptcy litigation matters. Ms. Jensen also has experience drafting and negotiating contracts and settlement agreements. Additionally, she has participated in the Orange County Bar Association's Chapter 7 pro bono program.


Daniel Leibowitz DANIEL J. LEIBOWITZ

Daniel J. Leibowitz joined the Leibowitz Law Group in 2009. He received is B.A. from University of California, San Diego and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Chapman University School of Law. During law school he served on the Chapman Law Review as both an editor and an executive board member and as a staff editor of the Nexus Law Journal. Prior to joining the Law Office of Gary Leibowitz, Mr. Leibowitz externed to the Honorable Mitchel R. Goldberg, United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California and worked as an associate at the law firm of Lanak & Hanna. 


JACQUELINE D. SERRAO

Jacqueline D.  Serrao joined the Leibowitz Law Group as a law clerk in 2008.  She received her B.A. degree from Dartmouth College and her JD, magna cum laude, from Whittier College School of Law.  During law school, Ms. Serrao was a Dean's List honoree, a Dean's Merit Scholarship recipient, and received the CALI Award for the top grades in Commercial Transactions I, Evidence, and Wills & Trusts.  During her time in practice, she has represented debtors in both chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy cases and in bankruptcy litigation matters.
